Directions to the UCLA Department of Art, Eli and Edythe Broad Art Center
The Broad Art Center is located in the northeastern part of the UCLA campus, just south of Sunset Boulevard, and west of Hilgard Avenue.
The Broad Art Center is the white, 8-story building across from Parking Structure 3 (P3) and just north of the Franklin D. Murphy Sculpture Garden.
The Art Administrative Office is on the 2nd floor in Suite 2275.
The New Wight Gallery is located on the 1st floor in the 2-story wing of Broad Art Center. The gallery entrance is just west of Richard Serra's T.E.U.C.L.A. sculpture located on Broad Art Center's plaza.
By Car
From the 405 Freeway
- Exit at Sunset Boulevard East
- Take Sunset Boulevard heading east
- Turn right on Hilgard Avenue.
- From Hilgard, take the first right at Charles E. Young Dr East
- Turn right into the first driveway entrance of Parking Structure 3
- Pay by space parking is on the right, payable at pay stations
From Wilshire Boulevard
- Turn north on Glendon Avenue
- Turn right on Lindbrook Avenue
- Veer left onto Hilgard Avenue
- From Hilgard, turn left on Charles E. Young Drive East (before Sunset Blvd and after Wyton Dr)
- Turn right into the first driveway of Parking Structure 3
- Pay by space parking is on the right, payable at pay stations.
From Sunset Boulevard
- Turn south on Hilgard
- From Hilgard, take the first right on Charles E Young Dr East
- Turn right into the first driveway entrance of Parking Structure 3
- Pay by space parking is on the right, payable at pay stations.
By Public Transit
Use the Metro Trip Planner at www.metro.net to find the route that works for you. Enter "Hilgard/Charing Cross Rd", "Hilgard Ave/Sunset Blvd" or "UCLA-Hilgard Terminal" as your destination. Or see the UCLA Public Transit map.
Drop-off Location
The safest drop-off, pick-up location is at the Macgowan Hall turnaround just off Charles E. Young Drive East (east of Macgowan Hall). The free Campus Express Bruin Bus also has a pickup here.
Deliveries
There is a loading area just behind the Broad Art Center off of Charles E. Young North, behind the 2-story wing side of the building. A loading permit is required for non-commercial vehicles. 20-minute loading permits are available to valid permit holders from any of the campus Information and Parking booths.
Parking Information
All day parking is available through the Bruin ePermit system and at self-service pay stations for visitors.
Parking is also sold at Information & Parking Booths which only accept cash and BruinCard payments.
